Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite make up brands at the moment. One of the star products in my opinion is the ‘Dolce Vita’ eyeshadow palette. I’ve been using the palette a lot recently and decided to share one of my go to looks on here.
Step one is to prep the lid for eyeshadow. I do love this palette but sometimes struggle to get much colour pay off. Prepping the lid creates a blank canvas for the eyeshadow to show up stronger on the skin. Here I just used my normal foundation (Estee lauder Double wear) but you could use a eyeshadow base like Urban decay primer potion or a Mac Paint pot. Once applied its really important to set with powder as eyeshadow won’t blend over creams or liquids, I just used Charlotte tilbury pressed powder.
Next I placed a blending colour through my crease, this just helps to blend the eyeshadow colour that you’ll be adding later. Here I just used Benefits Hoola bronzer with a blending brush in small circular motions in the crease. I find its nice to use a warmer colour here as its more flattering.
Next I used the ‘enhance’ shade from the Dolce Vita palette with a blending brush slightly under the crease and onto the lid, using the same circular motions as before. I also used this colour on the lower lid as well close to the lash line.
To finish offer I added a winged liner and mascara. Here I used Soap and Glory Supercat liner and Estee Lauder Double wear lengthening mascara.
The last step is optional, but if it’s a night out you are wearing this look for. Using the glitter in this palette, pressed lightly over lid takes the look up a notch for night time.
Hope you enjoyed the look, all the products are listed below x
